A "light" through the clouds...

This one afternoon when I was driving about, I noticed the sky was unusually lit, the clouds were in different formations and the 'suns rays' were pearing through their openings..... In my amazement, I quickly drove to a few different locations taking pictures at each place. (One has to hurry quickly when taking pictures, especially when taking pictures of the sky with clouds because they're always moving)......... I took many shots of this "time" in motion.... I am sharing with you here, only one of the pictures that I took.... Please....Enjoy.... :-) .... Dianne.....

"Like Red Tomatoes and Violets..."

Like red tomatoes in our gardens

that may be hiding beneath the leaves--

waiting, yes waiting to be

uncovered and picked--

There lies deep within us

a secret desire

that someday, someone

might unveil

the beauty that is hiding

within.

Yes, there lies there

in each of us

way down deep, inside us,

A Beauty,

longing to be discovered

by someone, someday.

For each of us has beauty

deep within us

waiting to be revealed and shared.

And, like

with small tender violets,

their beauty is priceless,

their fragrance leaves one

and will silently impress.

"Words"

Sometimes I feel

that words

just get in the way

In saying the things

I'm trying to say.

Some days it's hard to express

just how my heart feels inside--

And when I do,

I often realize

that what I said

is not what

I meant to say,

And things

just come out wrong.

If we could communicate

mind to mind

and not have to speak

so that thoughts and things

wouldn't get all jumbled up--

It'd be so much better,

Wouldn't it?

This picture was taken one evening while on the way to town......... I couldn't believe my eyes,.... as I was driving I viewed this to the left part of the sky and to my amazement, I said oh my goodness, I Have to take a picture of this, this one I took at a stop light before the clouds had time to move much more, then I went a few more blocks upon a hill and took more.... but I share this one with you now.... it looks sort of 'eare' to me what do you think?

Hello there, I would like to post some pictures here showing you some of my hobbies, gifts and talents. I love being creative, this is my life, and this is where I am happy....... I have a full book of poems and prose, I would like to publish it someday, this is one of my goals... I love to play the piano, let music 'come' to me.....and play what my fingers play and what I 'hear'..........

Since April of 2007 I have been taking hundreds of pictures with my digital camera and now I have quite a collection of them. One of my other goals now is to have them available to others so that you can put them in your own home. :-)

You will see displayed here throughout my postings some of my photos that I've collected in recent months. The one in the above left corner is one that I took one evening as I was going for a walk. This picture is taken in Cache Valley Utah looking towards the Wellsville Mountains. I LOVE Sunsets and I couldn't resist taking a picture of this one. :-)
